About Me

Losing My Hair

Hello, and thanks for stopping by my blog. My name is Paul, I am a 52 year old Chiropractor from California in the United States. But please don’t hold my profession against me. I hear enough jokes about Chiropractors everyday, especially thanks to the show: Two and a half men.

But that’s not what I have chosen to blog about. I feel when you have done a full day in the office, the last thing you want to do is go home and talk about Chiropractics some more. So I decided to create a blog about one of the main challenges which many men and women face everyday, including myself.

If you haven’t already guessed by the theme of the website, I created this site about losing my hair….and how I have now beat hair loss.

As a kid I enjoyed a full head of hair, always commented on by the hairdresser for having such thick hair.

Friends and family all found this a bit strange as all the men on both my mother and fathers side suffered from hair loss from a very early age. I always remember my father being bald, he was even bald when he first met my mother. But I thought that this would never happen to me.

But as soon as I moved into my adolescent years, the signs started, I started to notice hair on my pillow, washing out in the shower, in my hair brush, you name it, it was everywhere.

Now I always thought that I had beaten the bad gene in the family, but it turned out I was very wrong. All that I could ask myself is why am I losing my hair at 20. Yes, at 20 years old I lost a huge amount of hair. I started feeling depressed, I had low self esteem, and you would always catch me wearing a baseball cap everywhere.

Now I think I would of been a bit happier going fully bald, but instead I was left with a thin comb-over hair style which made me look much older than I really was.

Luckily now, that has all changed. The last couple of years have been a god send, I can’t tell you how much money I have spent on shampoo’s, laser, etc just to find out that a simple natural hair loss treatment can have great results if followed correctly.

So this is my mission of this blog, to offer my story so that it may help others regrow their hair too.

Please enjoy reading through my blog, feel free to comment, and please send me an email if you like:
